Build a Printing Press!

date Saturday, 16 March 2013 time 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

👤 Ann Johnson 🏢 Peace House

Past

Without the invention of the printing press, we’d be stuck waiting on monks to handwrite our boarding passes, tax forms, and seditious literature. Now we have ink-jet printers, which is arguably not an improvement.

We’ll teach you to build a compact, portable printing press out of a car jack and other widely available materials. You’ll be cranking out color prints faster than you can say “replace magenta ink cartridge.”
