Ever consider printing on a tote bag with durable, waterproof coffee ink? Writing a love letter in real squid’s ink? In this mad artists’ laboratory, we’ll focus on making a thickened screenprinting or relief ink from natural materials such as beets, blackberries, burnt toast, blood, spinach, mustard, and more. We’ll also touch on thinner inks that can be used with a brush or calligraphy pen. And you’ll get a chance to print with some ink (provided by the instructor) using “found” materials.

There will be a $5 fee for materials.
